The ETS Lindgren (EMCO) 4825-2 LISN is a two-line, low pass, filter network used for conducted emissions measurements. The product is placed between the power mains and the equipment under test (EUT) to stabilize line impedance, provide a 50 ohm RF connection, and eliminate unwanted RF signals from the line supply.
The Emco 4825/2 is used for making FCC 15, VDE 0871 & 0875, EN 55022 and CISPR 22 conformance measurements.
Features of the ETS Lindgren 4825-2 LISN include:
Earth Line Choke: A safety ground isolation choke selector switch, located on the front panel, switches the 1.6 microhenry earth line choke "IN" and "OUT" of the safety ground circuit. When the selector is switched to the "IN" position, the unit isolates the EUT from RF ground while maintaining a safety ground.
Artificial Hand: An Artificial Hand circuit which conforms to EN 55014 and BS 800 is included. The circuit is useful for testing hand-held equipment which does not have a connection to protective earth ground.
High Pass Filter: A high pass filter is included on each monitor port, preventing potential overload to the analyzer and eliminating the need to apply correction factors to measurements.
Overcurrent Protection: To protect test equipment, a switchable, two-pole circuit breaker is mounted on the rear panel. Providing excellent overcurrent protection, the circuit breaker is rated at 250 VAC, 50/60 Hz at 25 amperes.
EUT Power Adapter Boxes: The EUT is connected to the LISN through an interchangeable power adapter mounted on the front panel of the unit. This convenient feature enables users who are responsible for testing products with worldwide distribution to quickly switch from one receptacle type to another. Please specify the receptacle types required when placing an order. One (1) adapter box with a single receptacle type is standard.
IEC 1010 Compliant
